Advantages: Yummy! :)
Disadvantages: Full of fat :(
This first time I tried Oreos was in America when I was six and they were awesome!!
Then they introduced them to this country and then started making mini Oreos as well which is cool :)
I went into WH Smiths the other day to buy my friend a present for her birthday and the shop was selling a tub half price for only 75p from £1.50 so I had to have some!
Sold in a blue plastic tub (recycle please) covered with pictures of mini Oreos, the tub has a yellow plastic pop on lid...
Made by Kraft foods in the EU there are loads of different languages on the outside of the soft tub and the GB version says: 'Chocolate flavour sandwich biscuits with a vanilla flavour filling'.
Per 100g the calories are really high at 470 and the fats are 21g (which will stop my mum eating them, lol!) and they contain 5.7 g protein.
They contain flavouring and may contain nuts also, and there is 7% cocoa powder.
Each biscuit is two halves sandwiched together and the biscuits look nearly black the powder is that dark!
When you take them out of the tub after peeling back the silver foil seal the cocoa really gets on your chest - it is very dry and strong.
They are each about the size of a 10p and have a splodge of vanilla cream which is quite moist and sticks the little biscuits together.
The Oreos are very sweet and tasty yummy, to me they taste really natural with the chocolate flavour and not artificial at all. I really like hoe small and cute they are. Every biscuit has the Oreo name printed on it and a little flower design all the way round.
They taste strong and fresh and are really crunchy and dry - you need a drink with these!
The vanilla flavour is not too much but takes the strong taste of the biscuit away a bit.
Five stars from me, worth every penny for a sweet snack! :)
Summary: Try them :)
