      Very helpful

A great bread that's worth the money!

I have a real bread fetish and get through bread at the rate of knots and that fact really does drive my Mother mental lol. She can buy a premium costing bread and then in a day I'll have eaten it. Now me I'm not fussy on what bread I eat to be honest. I don't like really cheap and economy bread but I don't really mind shops own, middle of the range offerings which is why the other week my Mum stopped buying our usual bread at about £1.35 a loaf and opted to try this at about 90p a loaf instead.

Now I do love thick bread but find that shops own bread calling itself thick usually means that's it's the same as a medium sliced premium loaf however I don't mind thinner bread for sandwiches it's only toast I mind about lol.

      The Packaging:

Silver plastic bag with bright pink sections of colour on it that is oblong in shape. On the front (to the middle) there is a picture of the bread and then in white writing I'm told it's Morrisons Super Thick Sliced Superlife White 'Keeps fresh for 7 days' and there is an at a glance nutritional chart shown, I'm told it is suitable for Vegetarians and freezable and the weight is stated which is 800g. Other information on the back of the bag includes ingredients and allergy advice, I'm told how to store the bread, a full nutritional chart is given, and contact details for Morrisons are listed. It's a nice looking bag to be fair to it and it's informative enough.

      The Bread Itself:

Well what you get is around 18 slices of white sliced, square shaped bread. It's quite large slices with a light golden crust around each piece and of course to each end of the load you get two crusts. The thickness of this bread is actually rather good. It is thick but not in a doorstep way and although I think of it as thick I don't thick of it as 'extra' thick which is what I referred to earlier when it comes to shops own brands.

It's a bouncy bread, it tastes fresh and has a nice bready smell to it and what's more it does stay fresh for 7 days providing you store it in a dry and cool place and of course it freezes and we do freeze bread cos we get through it so fast and this is absolutely fine to do that with.

The crusts on this are like the thickness of two regular slices of medium bread. They're huge and the rest of the slices are are a nice wheaty flavoured white bread that has a moistness to it without it being doughy. I like the fact that this stays fresh so long and it's nicely seasoned so all round thumbs up from me, I think this is a great bread!

      Allergy Advice:

Contains: Gluten and soya and this bread is produced in a factory which uses milk and sesame seed ingredients.
