“ Brand: Morrisons / Type: Bread „
I take sandwiches to college it cheaper and I eat a cooked meal every night at home...
I only like white bread for sandwiches and I prefer it for toast as well although I don't mind seeded bread too :)
One of the loaves we get in is Morrisons 'Superlife' white medium sliced which is said to last for 7 days on the wrapper.
It is really soft and fresh when you buy it and the wrapper is a silver and blue coloured plastic wrapper which keeps the bread nice and airtight and keeps it from drying out...
The loaf weighs 800g and is usually 72p but has been on offer recently for 2 for one pound which makes it brilliant value.
The reason we buy the medium sliced is that unlike a lot of cheaper bread the slices are really a decent size, I would say about quarter of an inch wide which is good enough for toasting too.
This stuff is suitable for freezing as long as you use it within one month and suitable for vegetarians. It contains folic acid and the calories are 82 per slice with 0.6g of fat and 1g of sugar too...
For allergists this product contains wheat and soya. The storage advice is to keep in a cool dry place away from strong odours which it could absorb.
Taste wise this is really doughy and soft; it keeps really fresh and is light and fluffy even when toasted on the outside it stays soft in the middle.
I think the flavour tastes really natural plus the packaging says Morrisons make this bread in their own bakeries to their own recipe. the quality is really good, it tastes just like branded bread which is what you want :)
Because this Superlife bread is made to last a week there is no wastage which is cool :)
Five stars from me for price and good taste with a spongy texture which is lovely!
