      Yummy Pigs In Blankets.

I have been meaning to suggest these as a product for absolutely ages now so god knows why I noly got around to doing so a few days ago. The last time I ate these was Christmas Day so that goes to show how long its been lol. Anyway when it comes around to Christmas my mom always likes to try out different things for the dinner and this year it was these "Sausage & Bacon Rolls" which is just a fancy way of saying pigs in blankets. Its not that we havent had them before just never from Morrisons own brand. I keep mentioning in reviews lately that Im not supermarkets own brands biggest fan but Ive had a few decent things from Morrisons own range over the last few months so I decided to cook these as part of last years Christmas dinner.

      Useful Information:
Rolls Per Packet: Id Say About 20-25
Price: £2 Great Value I Reckon
      Stockist: Morrisons
      Store In The Fridge
& They Are Available All Year Round, Not Just For Christmas Time.

      Cooking Instructions:
I am terrible at cooking and even I managed to do these just perfect!
You just put them onto a baking tray, try and make sure they are all spaced apart so none of them end up stuck together and they all cook properly. Then just cook for around 25 minutes on Gas Mark 4 and then you should be left with lovely, piping hot pigs in blankets.

      The Taste:
The first thing I noticed when I took a bite out of my first "roll" was that is did taste VERY salty which I think was down to the bacon, having said that though I really liked that taste because Im a big fan of salty foods. However if you dip them around in your gravy that salty taste quickly dies down so no need to worry about it leaving you dying for a drink.

Both the bacon and the sausage taste really fresh and like proper meat rather than artificial and they are really yummy. They might not be very good big but they are packed with meaty flavours and taste really nice. I will say that these are a little bit on the greasy side so the mixture of teh grease and salt will leave a lot of people going Bleerghh! but for me? I bloody loved them. And the rest of my family did as well so overall Id say these were a winner! Im going to get my mom to buy some more for Sunday Dinner next time she goes to Morrisons.

I dont know what the exact nutritional information is for these rolls but Im guessing that the salt and fat content is very high (in a way Im glad I dont know!) so only reserve them for when you want a special treat and not for every time you have a Sunday Roast.

      Overall Opinion:
I am going to knock one star of because of the very salty/greasy taste but everything else about these rolls is great. They taste amazing, their cheap and they add a nice twist to an normal meal. I highly recommend to everyone, except maybe dieters because I cant imagine what kind of Weight Watchers points are in these!
