Morrisons Sausage Rolls (baked on the premises)

Advantages: Well Cooked. Good price.

Disadvantages: Can go cold behind counter.

As an employee at Morrisons, I often visit the Oven Bake department to feast upon their savoury goodies.
Oven bake has two sausages rolls ons offer, Linconshire pork and plain pork sauage rolls. Both are prepared well and cooked to a high standard. The food is regularly probed to check the temperature and therefore you can be assured your food is cooked to correct safety standards.

The Linconshire pork sausage roll has a more herbal taste over the standard pork roll and both contain alot of sausage meat so you are getting your monies worth.
You can buy one sausage roll for a little over 50p or a bag of 4 for around £2 (prices vary throughout year).

Although the food is baked to the correct temperatures, the sausage rolls can sit behind the counter for several hours and can be barely warm upon purchase, but the pastry doesn't sweat or feel greasy. It is best to wait until a fresh batch is coming out of the oven, perhaps returning at the end of your shop.

If your in the vicinity of a morrisons around lunchtime i do suggest popping in and grabbing a bag of 4 sausage rolls.

Summary: A quick easy lunch at an affordable price.
