      Well worth the money! :)

      I love muffin a lot!

They are great as a breakfast or snack as they are so filling and lovely!

A few weeks ago when we were shopping in Morrisons we saw a packet of Morrisons Value Muffins on the reduced section as it was early in the evening and the pack had that day's date on it as a best before.

The pack only cost 15p instead of 40p but for four they would have been worth it at full price for only 10p each!

The muffins were such a bargain we decided to try them and see what they were like compared to the Warburtons we usually get...

The Value range usually comes in thin packaging and with a white and yellow label on it. The muffins were in a clear plastic wrapper and a thin cardboard plain sleeve that they sat on.

The muffins are only little compared to the more expensive brands but you would expect that - they are Value after all :)

On the front label it gives the calories, etc for per 100g which are 214 but I can't find how much they weigh on the label?

They are low in sugars at 2.3 g and low in fat at 1.2g which is good and healthy. The less healthy part to these is that they contain preservatives.

Made in the UK you grill these until lightly brown and crispy on the outside but still fluffy and soft on the inside. You can freeze the muffins too; we do and then just defrost in the microwave for supper, yum!

Each muffin is bout three inches wide by one inch thick and are quite solid compared to the more expensive one, not as spongy but they still taste as good. They start off white and are made with wheat flour so contain gluten but are suitable for vegetarians.

I think these were brilliant value but we've never seen them since, must all sell out, lol! Five stars from me :)
