I bought these mince pies along with a box of Tesco deep filled mince pies - both were on sale so they were the same price, but the Mr Kipling normally cost a bit more. I had the Tesco ones first and enjoyed them immensely so was looking forward to opening these up. Disappointingly, they didn't come close to the Tesco mince pies- the pastry was alright in my opinion but the filling was incredibly sweet, which pretty much overpowered all the other flavours in the mincemeat filling. The pies aren't terrible, by any standard, but I would not repurchase these whether on sale or not since I could get the Tesco own brand ones for the same price or less. Packaging was nice, cheery red box and each pie in its own little tin - pretty standard. Give these a try if you like if they're on sale, but if they're not, it's not worth the price.
