Nabisco Ritz Crackers
Disadvantages: None really
I am very lucky indeed to have a B & M store very local to where I live. Both me and my mate walk up there a couple of times a week to grab a few essentials and at the moment they are selling bags of the mini Ritz crackers for the princely sum of only 10p a bag which is a very good little bargain indeed. The other night I had a bit of an open house at mine which turned into a party and luckily that day I had been instore knowing people were coming round mine and grabbed some snacky type items and I had grabbed a few bags of these which come in very handy that night when we all felt a wee bit peckish!
Well like I say these are the Mini variety of the crackers but that only means they are smaller than the larger variety you can buy boxed, flavour wise they are exactly the same thing of course and only a lot smaller.
The Bags are bright red and hold 40g of the crackers and on the front there are pictures of them and we are old that they are Nabisco Mini Ritz crackers and there is an at a glance nutritional chart shown. On the back of the bag other information listed includes ingredients and allergy advice being given, the size is stated as is a full nutritional chart and contact details for the manufacturer (Kraft Foods) are listed. The bag is silver foil inside to keep the freshness in and very simple to open.
Well they are round in shape and reasonably thick and golden and baked looking and not greasy to look at with seven little pin prick holes to each cracker. These have a lovely light taste to them which is of wheat which is a little naturally sweetened and slighty tangy and you can eat them as they come or top them though the amount of topping you need for these is minimal due to their dainty size.
They are crunchy and slightly tangy and we all devoured these with cocktails and loved em. They are so fresh and light tasting and of good quality and with only 202 Kcal a bag and 4.4g of saturated fat they arnt too bad on the old hips really though I wouldn't eat them too often!
Available in all good supermakets etc.
Summary: A nice little change from crisps!
