This review was going to wait until tomorrow but my wife desperately wants me to throw out the packet - so here goes! Nong Shim Onion Rings are something that were given to me in a Christmas Hamper for Christmas, unknowingly though the price was left on the back though and assuming it was correct it means that the price was about 50p, which considering the size of the pack (50g) is pretty reasonable. Nong Shim is South Korean and comes from Seoul.
Their Onion flavoured rings are indeed thin round circular crisps with a slight hint of onion about them, the taste is not particularly strong but on the other hand they are not at all oily and are therefore incredibly easy to eat without making a mess.
The ingredients are in English, German and Italian and show that there is nothing too nasty in there with the only additives being E621 and E101. Calorie wise, it's not too bad for the big bag of 50g - it's 246 calories made up of mostly carb.
I guess the reason that I'm going in to the details, I never usually would is that the taste is so non-descript with just a hint of onion that I had to look for other things to talk about! The green bag - very shiny! They are ok as a snack but don't expect them to taste like crisps because they don't!
