Penn State Original Sea Salted Giant Pretzels
Advantages: Very tasty, right amount of salt, nice and crunchy, big bag
Disadvantages: Not to everyones taste
These are my fave brand of pretzels! I have tried a few others, supermarkets own etc, but these in my opinion are the best. They are just the right amount of crunchy with just the right amount of salt.
Personally I prefer these original salted ones but there are other flavours available. Most supermarkets seem to stock them (I have seeen them in Asds, Sainsburys, Morrisons & Tesco) at varying prices. I bought some just yesterday in Sainsburys which were on offer at only 79p for the 175g bag. Prices can generally vary from about £1 upwards however.
They will last a couple of days once the bag is open, providing you scrunch it closed in between snacking, but to be honest they don't normally last more than one day in my house! I tend to eat them just on their own, but they are also nice with a little sour cream dip or anything like that really. They are lovely to snack on whilst enjoying a few alcoholic beverages and I also often have these instead of popcorn when watching a film. I assume they are slightly better for you than crisps - at least that's what i tell myself!
Pretzels are something that not everyone likes, it is a bit of an odd taste I suppose, but if you've never tried them give them a whirl!
Summary: An all round great pretzel!
