Still good crisps, just don't taste how they should.

I got these crisps as they were on offer at 80p a bag, I think the usual retail price is about £1.60 so I thought 80p was a good offer.

The flavour of these crisps is Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar, and the salt is the main taste. They are very dry due to this. You really can't taste the vinegar much, if at all.

I have bought a few different makes of crisp with this flavour, and I would definitely say that these are the weakest.

I happen to really like salt & vinegar so that's why I chose this flavour, but it's really disappointing that all you can really taste is the salt.

I think if you just want a fairly plain bag of crisps then these are good, but if you expect the flavour that you buy then you will be really disappointed.

They weren't unpleasant at all, just not what they say they are.

Nice Crisps But Only If You Don't Like Malt Vinegar That Much!

These Phileas Fogg crisps are on offer in Morrisons at the minute, the big share bag is only 49p. I have tried their tortilla chips before and I didn't like them but these crisps aren't too bad even though I'd rather have other brands to be honest.

The crisps have got quite a hard texture, not as hard as Kettle chips but they're loads thicker than Walkers crisps. They've got a lovely crunchy texture to them and the crisps are just the right size for me because they're not majorly big so that you've got to snap them in half before putting them in your mouth.

The crisps are mega salty and there isn't enough vinegar on them for me, you can tell there's vinegar on them but I would rather have more vinegar to give them a nice tangy flavour like the Mccoys Salt And Malt Vinegar flavour. These aren't tangy at all apart from the odd crisp that has got more flavouring on them than the rest.

I wouldn't say that the crisps are bland or anything like that but the flavour isn't as strong as I would like it to be and that's because there isn't enough vinegar on them I think. The good thing about this is that you can taste the potato under the flavouring and it's got a delish flavour that I couldn't stop munching once I started.

I reckon you'll like these if you like ready salted crisps because like I said there isn't much vinegar on them, obviously people who HATE vinegar will be able to taste it but then people like me who LOVE it will be disappointed because it's not strong enough.

Any other brand of Salt And Malt Vinegar crisps are tangy and leave the inside of your mouth knowing you've had something with a good vinegar taste. These ones are nice crisps but the flavour isn't as good as it should be and it's really only the good potato flavour and that it's salted so good that makes them as nice as they are.

Kinda recommended.... unless you LOVE malt vinegar because if you do you won't be that happy with these crisps!!!
