      .

I only spotted these the other week in Asda and I've been hooked since. I've always liked Quakers Snack A Jacks, and although I don't tend to eat them if I'm not on a diet, as odd as it sounds since I like them so much, but I like them for being Diet friendly as they don't taste like Diet food.

Along with this new addition to the range there is the Smokey Bacon ones, which were a bit of a disappointment. Hardly any flavour to them, but these are tasty.

I've only seen these in the individual 26.5g bags and in Asda they cost 48p each or 3 for £1 just now. You get the normal sized Snack A Jacks in the bag, which are quite large and bumpy shaped.. Snack A Jacks are Rice Snacks and there is plenty of Rice bits in each one.

The packaging looks alright. It is a mixture of reds and yellows and it gives the impression that these are pretty Hot. With the name Hot Tomato then you would expect them to be.

When I opened the bag I was greeted by the scent of Hot Tomatoes, so at this point the named lived up to it. There also seems to be plenty of Powdered flavouring on these, and I ended up licking it off my fingers as it was so nice.

This flavour reminds me of Spicy Tomato Wheat Crunchies. It has a spice to it, but isn't overly spicy. It is just right and so so tasty.

Per bag these have 105 calories and pretty filling as well.

This is by far my favourite flavour and if you like Snack A Jacks then I suggest you try these beauties.

      Very Nice Snack Jack...

Snack a Jacks Hot Tomato Flavour

I have previously tried and enjoyed a few of the Snack a Jacks flavours so when I spotted these Hot Tomato variety I just had to have a pack. I got mine from Asda for 48p, although they currently have an offer of 5 bags for £2.00 making them 40p a bag.

      **The Low Down**
I use this term as it is the term that Snack a Jacks use when listing their nutritional values. A 26g bag contains 15 calories, 2.0g of fat and just less than 0.5g of salt. They are suitable for vegetarians.

      **My Experience**
      Was only good!!

I really enjoyed these as a filling snack. I feel that the calorie content and fat content was good for the size of the snack. As the rice snacks are so light there were loads in the 26g pack (and suddenly there were none, lol) and did fill me up until I got home and cooked a proper meal ready for a couple of hours later.

The rice snacks are laden with spicy tomato and paprika flavourings and really do have a kick to them. I could still taste the 'hot' in my mouth for some while afterwards.

I really like these and would buy them again, but think I still love prawn cocktail and salt and vinegar flavours more!!
