Advantages: Taste great, nice bubbly texture
Disadvantages: very impossible to track a pack down.
I recently remembered these crisps from ages ago and thought id get some in for a trip down crisp memory lane.
I went to my local tescos, scowered around to no avail. Then i went to sainsburys, again searched and searched, but no joy.
By this time i had really got it into my head that i wanted a pack so i went to the third major supermarket on my high street, being wilkinsons.....BUT THERE WERE NONE THERE EITHER!!!! (oh excuse me)
As a last attempt i went to an out of the way sweet shop on my way home, Aha!!! success, i spied the familiar american looking bag straight away.
These crisps are nigh on impossible to find anywhere, that sweet shop near my house is the only place i have seen them recently.
The crisps are bubbly in texture which makes them a little more interesting than your average walkers. They are nicely crispy and each crisp is a good size. There is a decent amount of crisps in the bag as well which makes a change from walkers.
The flavour is T Bone steak, now usually that means its beef flavour but we wanted to make them sound different. These roysters do actually taste a little different from straight forward beef (i dont know about T Bone though) they seem to have a bit more of a chargrilled type of taste.
The bag is white and maroon with a cows skull in the corner and a yankee flag lookalike design at the top.
Give them a try if you like beef flavoured crisps as their something familiar but a done a little differently.
Summary: T Bone steak crisps with a lovely taste.
