Advantages: good for snacks
Disadvantages: none
I love biscuits of any kind or brand, and I am not a biscuit snob and so I buy what is sometimes the cheapest and sometimes the well known brands as I am always snacking at work and at home.
These biscuits are from Sainsburys lower range of food, the basics range, they are digestives covered in nice milk chocolate and are very tasty, I first tried these last year and bought them ever since.
They cost only 33p for a 300g packet and for that price it is a bargain and I must say very good quality, there are around 15 biscuits, maybe more in this pack so they are worth the money.
For one biscuit they contain 70 calories, and the packet is in an orange and yellow coloured stripes for the basics range of colours, so they are very easy to spot on the supermarket shelves.
They taste nice and light and the amount of chocolate on the biscuit is very generous and just the right amount.
They are best stored in a cool place or in a biscuit tin or put into the fridge as I do mostly and they are nice and crunchy when eaten.
They are ideal for people with large families and their children want a biscuit for a snack after school as they are always hungry when they come home.
The packaging is easy to recycle and of a good strength too, the packaging does not tend to rip as some do.
I think if you are on a low budget, try them and see if they suit your family and yourself and they are good to offer a guest when they come to visit.
I rate this product 5 stars.
Summary: cheap biscuits for good price
