Only good as a very rare treat.

We had these scones during the winter a couple of times, as we kept finding them reduced. I have had to stop buying them though as they are so bad for us and we are trying to be a bit healthier, but they are very tasty.

I have never been a massive scone fan, I always find that they are far too thick and fill me up too much, but these were an exception, maybe it's because they are savoury, I'm not sure.

You get 4 of these for £1.49 which seems a tad expensive for just 4, but they are very good quality so it's worth it.

We simply warmed these a little in the microwave and spread some clover on them, and they were so lovely. You can really taste the cheese in them, but they were quite light, and not too stodgy. They went soft when they were warmed and they were a delight to eat.

The only drawback with these is the fat content, they are extremely high. There is 13.8g of fat per scone, which is a huge amount, especially if you eat 2. One scone is almost 20% of an adults RDA, so these are quite the unhealthy scone.

Despite the fat content, I would buy these again, but only on rare occasions, I can't eat that much fat without feeling massive pangs of guilt and a desperation to go for a walk straight after eating them to burn some calories. They do taste good though.
