 ... 204 ***APPEARANCE/SMELL*** When taking the cake out of the plastic wrapper the cake itself is a darkish brown colour but also have a golden yellow colour in it as well. Looking at the end of the cake you can see a nice beige sponge colour with brown chocolate marbled into the vanilla sponge. When smelling the cake it smells nice and chocolatey and smells very sweet as well. ***MARBLE CAKE*** I used to have this cake as a child and I have been meaning to buy it for a few weeks now, so I thought I would pick this up on my next trip to Sainsbury's which I did. This yummy marble cake is a chocolate and vanilla flavour Madeira cake. This cake is available from Sainsbury for £1.35 and serves 7 people. The cake comes in a paper case and is then wrapped in film. When opened simply store this product in a cool dry place away from strong light and odours in an air-tight container.
