An ok product but wouldn't really recommend.

If ever we need snack food for any reason, I always delve into the frozen aisle at Sainsburys for their 3 for £5.00 boxes. I think on their own these cost £2.00 which is actually quite a lot for what you get in the box, but when you buy them on offer it never seems too bad. I have never seen these not on offer though.

I would say a basic description of these is a jalepeno pepper stuffed with some soft cheese and coated in breadcrumbs.

It says on the box that each Jalepeno has 2.8g of fat, 58 calories, 0.7g of saturated fat, 0.6g of sugar and 0.28g of salt.

Whilst they look fairly attractive after being in the oven for the set amount of time, they aren't great snack food as they are a lot easier to eat with a knife and fork. I say this because when you bite into one of these the pepper itself stays quite firm and tends to slip out of the breadcrumbs and the cheese filling, so then you atre left with a lump of cheese and breadcrumbs, which without the pepper isn't actually that appetising.

The taste of these is ok, nothing to rave about, the breadcrumbs is nice and crispy but doesn't have much flavour. The soft cheese could be any, it's creamy and cheesy but doesn't taste particularly great and it actually that nice when it's warm but that could be down to personal preference. The jalepeno pepper just tastes like a green pepper, it's not spicy like I expect jalepeno's to be. The product as a whole I would describe as a bit of a disappointment.

I think as a table filler at a party these are ok. Someone might like them, but they aren't that great and have a lot of flaws. I wouldn't really recommend them.
