“ Brand: Sainsbury's / Type: Biscuits „
I tried some of these the other day, and I didn't realise they change the flavours of them a lot, as they are seasonal, but I had the white chocolate and lemon flavour, and I hope they are still in season next week so that I can buy some more.
I think these usually retail at about £1.40 for 4 cookies, but the ones I had were on the discount shelf (I always have to check it for bargains), and they only cost £1.00 so I scooped them straight up into the trolley.
There were only 4 in the bag, and most other bags do have 5, so I was slightly disappointed, but I would still buy them again.
The cookies were very soft, but not chewy sometimes I find cookies like this hard going, but these were soft and melted in the mouth. The edges were a bit crunchy, which I really like. They had massive chunks of white chocolate in, and I don't usually eat white chocolate, so I'm not sure if it was good quality or not, but it was very creamy and soft, and I actually really enjoyed it. The lemon flavour was also there, but only a tiny hint, you could definitely taste it, but it didn't over power the cookie or the chocolate, but added a nice extra flavour.
There was no nutritional information on the bag, so I have no idea about calories or fat content, but to be honest, I'm not that bothered.
These tasted lovely and were so soft and delicious, I hope they have them available next week as I will definitely be buying more. Highly recommend these.
