      a great dip.

I always use this sour cream from sainsburys. I have found it to be the best tasting one. I tend to eat a lot of mexican food, and whenever I do, I have to have a dollop of sour cream somewhere near it! This comes in a 230g tub and costs £1.01, I'm not sure why the extra penny has been added on but it used to be £1.00, but it is still great value for money. It comes in a tub with a lid so you don't have to use it all in one go. I have tried the be good to yourself sour cream dip and it really doesn't taste anywhere near as good as this one, so it must be all the fat in it that makes it tasty. There is 30g of fat per 100g in this, so it's not something that's healthy in any way, but I think as long as it's eaten in moderation it's ok as an occasional extra. The taste of this dip is lovely. It's not as thick as others, but it tastes brilliant. I have to admit, I have never paid much attention to the chive part, there is never that many in there, I think it just adds a bit of extra flavour so its not just extremely creamy. It does have a great twang that sour cream is supposed too, but it's only subtle, so it's not offensive. I really love this dip, and it goes great with a nice hot chilli or enchiladas.
