      Very helpful

      Lovely, filling rolls!

Of late I've tried really hard to be healthy and sensible. However although I'm getting to really like wholemeal bread and the likes I still the other day really fancied some white bread offering and at 60p for two rather large sub rolls in my local Sainsbury's I decided I must give them a go and see if I still like white breads as much as I used to!

      The Packaging....

See through and light blue oblong plastic placket. on the front I am told they are Sainsburys 2 White Sub Rolls and the best before date is stamped on as is an at a glance nutritional chart. On the back of the packet I'm told they are as stated on the front of the packet 2 sub rolls and now I'm told they are made with wheat flour and semolina, a full nutritional chart is given, I'm told how to store them (yes they are suitable for freezing by the way), ingredients and allergy advice is listed, contact details for Sainsburys are given and finally there is a bar-code on there. Simple packaging this is but it doesn't look cheap and/or nasty and serves it's purpose well I think!

      The Rolls....

Long and cream in colour in the main with a hint of a golden baked looked in places and in some places a slight dusting of white flour is visible. Open the packet and you are met with a slightly sweet bready aroma and pick them up and your hands get coated in flour and you notice how heavy they are! Taste wise though they are truly delicious! Light and fluffy, ok they could do without less flour over the top of them but in this instance I'll ignore that! The semolina added gives a lovely creamy and slightly sweet but natural taste to the bread, they are well seasoned, filling and when bought fresh really are bouncy and fresh and are simply delicious! They can of course be toasted, filled with fillings (sweet or savoury of course) they really are a lovely roll and me, yep I still love me white bread products. This is moist bread that remains light, airy and still filling! Lovely Sainsburys but less flour powder in the future on mine thanks they make a mess! lol

      Allergy Advice....
