      Lovely treat

I asked dooyoo to add the instore bakery cookies to the catalogue but judging by the picture, they are not the ones I wanted to write a review about! **Please note this review is of the 5 Double Chocolate Cookies available from the bakery counter in Sainsburys**. I really love cookies, especially from the instore bakery sections due to them being soft, chewy and really tasty! I almost always opt for white chocolate chip cookies due to them being my personal favourite. However, when browsing in my local Sainsburys the other day I noticed that their in store bakery cookies were buy one get one free, meaning you would pay £1 for 10 cookies! In my eyes this was a bargain I couldn't miss, even if I was on a diet. So I got one bag of these and one bag of white chocolate chip cookies. The cookies come in a paper bag with a small plastic window which allows you to see what you are buying. The bag is primarilly hot pink in colour with chocolate brown sides and writing. Through the window I could see the cookies were a very dark brown colour and bursting full of chocolate, which is of course perfect for a chocoholic like myself! As soon as I opened the bag I was hit with a strong aroma of chocolate mixed with freshly baked cookies. They smelt absolutely lovely and I couldnt wait to tuck in! The cookies were really generous in size, being about 4 inches wide and half a centimetre tall. Biting into the cookies the immediate taste I got was chocolate. The biscuit itself tasted of rich chocolate and melted nicely in the mouth. The biscuit was chewy and soft and still remained soft the next day. The chocolate chunks were obviously made of good quality chocolate and were rich, smooth and mixed really well with the biscuit. Together, the combination melted really nicely in my mouth and left me feeling satisfied and filled a hunger pang. As these are cooked instore, there is no nutritional information on the packet, however the packet does warn that there may be nut traces. I really enjoyed these cookies and will certainly be buying them again. I'm not usually a fan of double chocolate cookies and would usually rather have regular ones but these have changed my mind! They were cooked to perfection and looked really appetising aswell as tasting superb! I would recommend anyone to buy these as they represent really good value for money and are of good quality.
