Soreen Snack Pack
I like a bit of cycling and the other week i decided to get on my bike and cycle to a local windmill that near where I live. the ride was about 10 miles and along the way decided to pop into the local Tesco Metro for a snack to much on whilst havin a rest.
The soreen snack pack caught my eye due to its brightly coloured packaging and the memories of having the Soreen loaf on a Sunday afternoon with my parents.
Opening the pack was easy enough i used my teeth as im always being told not to and i cant recommend this method of opening but i find it the easiest way to get into this type of wrapping.
There were two slices of malth loaf that had been sliced better than any I have managed to in the past I always end up crushing the loaf.
There is a small piece of Anchor butter inside as well that i found a little hard to spread as the packet had been in the shops fridge.
Tasting the malt loaf i found all those memories flooding back and i have to say the only trouble was is that after i finished off the two slices I was found wanting more but i suppose this was good as it prevented me from eating the whole loaf had i bought one. The raisins were nice and moist and the slice had a delicious malty taste from my childhood.
Overall its very good its sliced well and the option of whether to have the butter or not was a nice toucha s i know people that like unspread malt loaf. The packagin is nice and cheery as well and easy to spot in the fridge amongst other products.
Summary: Very impressed nice malty flavour
