Thank you for the review of Tastees. I have just bought a box and I have to say they are delicious. I was told that they they are the same as Twistees in Malta, only the packaging is different and having eaten several paks, it is correct they are the same as Twistees in Malta. Having been to Australia, they are very similat to a great snack there called Twisties. The great thing about Twistees/Tastees is that they are baked not fried and made from rice which makes them healthier. The 50g pack size can make them a " big eat" for just 1 occasion. I belive they are also wheat free but there is nothing on the pack to confirm this. Also i think they are meat free, but there is nothing on the pack about this. In summary, must say that Tastees taste gorgeous and are better is than any other snack I have tried in this country.
Fellow Dooyoo colleagues, I have just eaten a bag of Tastees - following some recommendations. Tastees is the new cheese, flavoured rice snack which is baked not fried. The cheese flavoured Tastees tasted pretty good. Apparently Tastees is also wheat free. There seems to be lots of baked or rice snacks on sale, but having sampled most of them, Tastees has the tastiest taste. I do not know if anyone else thought the same, but Tastees taste and look exactly the same as Twistees you can buy in Australia and Twisties in Malta. The twisty shape of Tastees is the same as those products. Dont know if there are any other flavours. Also entered the competition on the Tastees web-site to win a box. Looking around the shelves it seems that snack packs are getting smaller but the 50g Tastees bag gives you value for money and more tasty tastes.
New, wheat free, cheese baked snack, made from rice.
