Tesco Cream Crackers
Advantages: No difference in taste, delicious and very cheap
If we were to compare cream crackers, we would all most probably compare them to Jacobs cream crackers because they are so renowned. I love Jacobs cream crackers but for over a pound, they are way too expensive to munch on whenever I feel like it. I needed a cheaper alternative and found the Tesco branded cream crackers for only 29 pence. I picked them up and bought them home to try. It is a medium sized pack and comes wrapped in orange plastic, very much like the Jacobs crackers packaging.
I got them home and tried them immediately with a little bit of butter spread over one side, I didn't notice the slightest difference in taste or texture. They are just as good as the Jacobs crackers and now I feel like I was a fool to have wasted money on Jacobs when I could have saved a lot of money and eaten them more regularly if I had tried Tesco branded cream crackers previously.
I really am pleased with them and buy at least three packets a week without having to worry about blowing my budget. If you have not tried them yet, they are too good to miss out on. We all want to save our pennies and sometimes it is unavoidable but in this case, it is more than possible. I have found that it is the little price cuts that do make a difference to my overall budget. Tesco have improved on their items a lot and they are worth trying. Not all of them are great, but most of their own branded products are getting much better.
I eat the cream crackers with butter whenever I feel hungry while watching television, but when I have guests or I am trying to feed my daughter something a little more filling, I like to but Philadelphia or cheddar cheese on the crackers. They taste great, they are filling and they really don't cost much. I am glad I tried them, there isn't a person in my house who doesn't love them.
Summary: I can't fault tesco's cream crackers in any way
