... very small and confined to a minimum which is thrown onto the top of the cereal bar. Well, it started on the top. I think I lost most of mine because they fell off onto the floor as I bit into the bar. The main problem with these is that they take so much chewing. They are very poor quality and do not taste nice. I would even say that the Tesco Value cereal bars at 89p for 6 are much better value and are actually edible. I would not buy these again....more

Tesco Healthy Living Chocolate & Orange Cereal Bars: So chewy they give you jaw ache! (361 words)

These Tesco Light Choices (as they are now called) Chocolate and Orange Cereal Bars cost £1.28 for 6 individually wrapped 22g bars and are available in most large Tesco stores. The packaging is very uninspiring - a white box with a LOT of writing and a picture of the bars piled up on a plate. I have to say, they don't even look very tasty in the photo! The usual nutritional information is on the front of the box along with a description - "A chewy crisp rice and wheat cereal bar with dark chocolate chips and candied orange peel." First impressions are not favourable... The smell of these bars is dull and uninviting, slightly ...  Read the complete review

~*~ Tesco Chocolate and Orange Cereal Bars ~*~ I am a massive chocoholic (well, chocolate and ice-cream-aholic, which is not a good combination) and quite recently realised that I was going to have to start watching my weight as I can unfortunately no longer eat kilograms of Dairy Milk without putting on so much as an ounce. Sad, I know! So I have been browsing the stores looking for items that give me the chocolate fix that I have been craving whilst also saving some calories. These chocolate orange bars in tesco are my most recent purchase. ~*~ Tesco Healthy Living ~*~ These cereal bars are a part of the Tesco 'Healthy Living' ...  Read the complete review

What do you reach for if you want a snack to keep away the rumbling tums until lunch time? If you’re anything like me snack times are when I quite often reach for something disgustingly fattening such as a bar of chocolate. I am trying to be good lately. Really I am. I’ve still not recovered from all the grossly sickly chocolates I consumed over Christmas last year really. Ok. So that’s a lie. I could eat chocolate for England and I do normally, but now I’ve decided that it needs to be eaten in moderation and as a treat. The burning question is, what is going to replace my high calorie munchies? We were wandering round our local Tesco last week and ...  Read the complete review

The Cereal Bars Are A Pain In The........Jaw (325 words)

It would be interesting to do an experiment and find out if you use more calories chewing one of these bars than you actually get from it. These things hang around in your mouth for ages and they are certainly not a quick snack, or a fast breakfast. WARNING: If you are short of time in the morning avoid trying to eat these. They may make you late for work! (LOL) Tesco Light Choices chocolate and orange cereal bars come in a cardboard box with a picture of the bars on the front. It does not look very exciting. Inside the box are six individually wrapped bars which weigh just twenty two grams each. (What a waste of packaging). All the ...  Read the complete review
