 ... though it isn't resealable. The Crackers: The crackers are made from tapioca and are prawn flavoured with 17% prawn actually in them. They are crunchy or can melt in the mouth, some are large ovals some small but all reasonably thick and some are drier than others and on some you can see a tiny bit of sunflower oil residue so when I'm eating them my fingers do get a bit greasy. However these are moist crackers, well seasoned and do taste lightly of salty prawn and I have to admit to really liking them t...more

Tesco Prawn Crackers: I could easily eat the whole pack! (306 words)

I love crisps and savoury snacks. I buy these frequently to scoff on a saturday night while watching TV. A packet of these prawn crackers only costs 81p. The packet contains 60g of crackers. The packaging differs from the picture above now it is purple with a picture of a bowl of crackers on the front. A serving of the crackers is apparently 20g! so the bag can be shared between 3 people. When you open the bag it is suprisingly full. I hate it when you open a bag of crisps and it is only half full. The crackers have a lovely smell, it is exactly like the ones you get from the chinese. A mixture of prawn and sweetness. The crackers are a ...  Read the complete review

**** Before you read this, i suggested the tesco takeaway prawn crackers and i was told they were already in the database, so i am putting my review here as it is the only place it can be put **** Browsing my local big Tesco with my son I was thinking it might be nice to have a takeaway meal, but I decided that overall they are a bit too pricey for our current budget. However, this bag of prawn crackers caught my eye on the end of the aisle with a price tag of 39p, and I decided that I could make a stir fry at home with these and we would have a really good Saturday night meal together. The bag is a dark red design with a see through panel over one ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Prawn Crackers: Crack, Fizz, Crunch (345 words)

~~~PACKAGING~~~ Tesco Prawn Crackers are packaged like other crisps, in a large plastic and foil bag. It is airtight and sealed. With many crisps, there is more air than crisps, but with this, it is comparably better. There seems to be more prawn crackers than air, which is great. However, prawn crackers are generally larger, and more puffy so that could be why. ~~~APPEARANCE, TASTE, TEXTURE~~~ Prawn crackers are white and generally flat with perhaps curled edges. They are quite light, puffy and bubbly. When you put it in your mouth, it gently fizzes and crackles (does a better job than Aero) and is crunchy when bitten. I really like ...  Read the complete review
I was having some friends over a couple of weeks ago as it was my turn to do the entertaining and to cook a meal. I normally tend to stick with what I know, the old classics such as a lasagne or a spaghetti bolognaise however I decided that it was about time for a change and so decided to cook a stir fry and as I had some party treats such as the Chinese snack selection left in the freezer I thought that it would all go together well. I went along to my local Tesco and brought all of my ingredients and whilst having a look around I decided that a bag of prawn crackers would compliment the dish well. Having never brought them before there were a couple of options ...  Read the complete review
Tesco Prawn Crackers: Prawn crackers that take the prawn content too far! (265 words)
Chinese food had been my favourite for a very long time. Seeing as it is much cheaper than buying from takeaway shops, I buy the oriental range from Tesco. These chinese style prawn crackers were a must have for a complete chinese dinner. Of course, they are also great as a snack at any time of the day. The packaging is nothing extraordinary. It has changed sinse the picture was added on here. A white background accompanies a picture of a bowl of the crackers, some text and an attempt at some chinese symbols. This packaging did not scream quality to me, but I wasn't going to let that deter me from trying them. Biting into the first ...  Read the complete review
