Advantages: Easy to cut, lasts quite well

Disadvantages: Not as soft

At 47p for bread you can't really moan too much about especially when you think you pay over £1.50 usually for any brand breads. They do three cuts of this bread either thin, medium or thick. For anyone who is thinking of buying this I would suggest that you buy the thick cut as even though it says thick it isn't! I could imagine the thin is paper thin!

The bread is thinner then what you'd expect and yes the slices of bread are smaller in size then most others. I would also say it isn't as soft as most breads. However it tastes just as good and I would recommend it for those who are on a budget.

The other thing I quite like about this bread is how easy it is to cut it, as I have found the breads which are softer usually tear rather then cut. This makes it so much easier when cutting a sandwich! I also find that the bread lasts longer. When you buy the bread it usually has a best before date in the next 2-3 days on it however I have found they can last up to a week after you have bought it. This is good for us as we dont use that much bread and so it saves us having to throw half loaves away because they have gone mouldy.

I would't say this is the best bread out there, if you can afford to spend more then do but if you are on a budget this is by no means a bad bread!

Summary: A good budget bread
