--Value for money and availability--

These value chocolate digestive brands are available in various supermarkets. From the ones I've tried so far (Tescos, Sainsburies, Co Op) I can say that the Tesco ones are my preference. These are available from all Tesco stores and are fantastic value for money for a sweet treat.

--Personal experience--

Moving out means buying your own groceries and cutting back on spending a little! So the luxuries are off the shopping list, but it doesn't mean you can't try out the affordable value treats. I first tried these at work and they were pretty good so I've been buying these ever since for home.

I have saved a lot of money on more expensive brands such as Mcvities by buying these when I get tempted to add some sweet treats to the shopping. This is a quick chocolate fix, and does the trick, both at home and at work! The chocolate to biscuit ratio is okay, but you can definitely taste the difference with Mcvities after eating these for some time.

In comparison to other value chocolate digestives this one definitely comes out on top - thanks Tesco!
Crunchy, moreish and satisfying, I can eat packets of these at a time. There doesn't seem to be any compromise on quality, though I have found the Tesco Everyday Value brand is patchy, but overall very good.

When I originally started eating them, the chocolate seemed quite thin compared to McVities but there is still enough chocolate there to give a satisfyingly chocolatey snack. I personally will have chocolate biscuits over plain ones anyday but I'm sure the plain version of these are just as good. The chocolate isn't cheap and nasty, it's quite tasty!
The digestive biscuit is sweet and crunchy, so ideal!

Saving money on treats can be difficult as confectionery and crisps are quite highly priced compared to other groceries, but these provide that solution for a great biscuit at a low price.

A very good value biscuit, possibly the best value chocolate digestive out there!
