Tesco Value Salted Peanuts:
Me and my boyfriend popped into Tesco the other day and I really fancied some peanuts. I didn't want to spend a lot of money because I only had a little bit of change and I didn't really want to use my card. I saw these and they were only cheap at 20 something pence and they were in quite a big bag so it was just enough for a snack and I has loads left over which I finished the other night.
These came in either a 200g bag or a 400g bag I got the smaller version as they were only for me! They were in a sort of foil type bag and on the front there is the usual economy blue white and red writing with a large bowl of peanuts which look yummy until you have eaten loads! It is annoying to get the bag open and then you find it is hard to get your hand in so you may as well put these in a bowl to dig into!
Most of the peanuts are split in half but this does not matter as they still taste great! They are a little dry though which is not too good I drank a whole bottle of water to wash these down as they were very salty and off putting after a while. They also really filling which is great because that is what I wanted them to do!
Per 25g there is:
150 calories
Protein 6.3g
Sugar 1.1g
Fat (saturates) 2.2g
Salt: 0.2g
When I looked at this I was shocked, I didn't expect them to be healthy but this is quite bad and they should be healthier!
I will buy a more expensive brand in future as they may be better for me!
