I have been buying these Snowballs for quite some time. I originally bought them for my little grandson to try for a little treat. He loved them and so for that reason I have bought them ever since. They are from Tesco's lowest range of items and cheap enough to buy.

They come inside a clear plastic container with a plastic wrapper. There are snowballs which sit nicely inside the separate compartment holes, so that they stay in place a little better. They are round and quite chunky. Each one is covered with milk chocolate. Inside they are marshmallow. The mallow is white in colour and quite fluffy. The white colour does not look off white or cheap looking, it is just a good colour for the price. It does have a soft texture but not at all runny. The chocolate is coated with coconut bits. The amount of bits that cover the buns is just the right amount, this coconut has a good strong taste and not bland. They also do not fall of the bun and make a mess. Admittedly a few do drop but not that much that it is noticeable. They do look very appetising in my opinion once out of the packaging.

The smell of the coconut is apparent once taken from the container. They smell nice too. They have a nice marshmallow taste and one that certainly doesn't taste bland like you may expect. The combination of the chocolate, coconut and the mallow work really well together and taste delicious.

They are easy for my grandson to hold because they are quite small and around 2 inches in diameter. He can chew and swallow them too with no problems at all and he absolutely loves these for a treat when he comes to visit.

They do taste sweet but they do not have that sickly sweetness that some cheaper brands tend to taste. These ones are a really nice sweetness for anyone who loves marshmallow. I just these, I usually almost always eat one when I come home from the shops after buying them because I find them irritable. What I do like about them is the fluffy mallow. This mallow is not a nasty taste at all and one that certainly is liked in my family. I also love the way they crunch as I bite into them, they kind of make a pop noise because they have a very soft centre and the quality of the chocolate is very good and not too soft. The chocolate is just the right thickness for these snowflakes.

I have bought these for my parties when I have wanted a cheaper food for the table. It can be quite expensive sometimes holding parties and so these add an additional food to the table quite nicely. I think these are ideal for children's parties. They are so affordable for any budget and would certainly be ones that the little ones would like to eat.

Because they have a soft centre, I always take care packing them at the checkout so not to squash them. For the pack of 6 these usually cost around 49p. Sometimes the price does vary at the moment and I have bought them many times at just over 40p and so a good buy.

Each one contains only 80 calories, so not a lot if you are on a diet and just fancy a little treat in my opinion.
The chocolate is a good quality as with the marshmallow and coconut. They are extremely good value for the price and I most definitely highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for a cheap, nice tasting little treat. They are small enough not to spoil an appetite for the little ones who may want a snack after school or in between meals. I just don't think you can go wrong with these, they are fabulous for anyone with a lot of children and short of money and looking for a decent bun for their treats.
I will keep on buying these in the future because they give me all the taste that I expect from a shops lower brand of snowflakes.

The packaging can easily be recycled.
