Advantages: Tastes good, afforable

Disadvantages: -

I normally find that I am peckish some time around mid-morning and need to eat something to keep me going until lunch time. I have tried numerous cereal bars over the past few years in a quest to find something which both tastes nice and is affordable. I have found that the cheaper products are normally dry and tasteless and you have to pay a premium for something that is moist and tasty like an Elevenses bar. I have found that a Chocolate Chip Tracker Bars is just what I need for my elevenses and it ticks all my boxes.

I normally by these bars in a multi pack from the supermarket and they come in a box of 8. You can also buy them individually and I have seen them in smaller convenience stores as well as the likes of Tesco Metro or Sainsbury's Local. I believe the last time I bought a multi pack it cost around £1.90 from Sainsbury's.

Each of the individually wrapped bars are made up of cereal, which I believe is Granola and chocolate chips. The bar is quite chewy and isn't bone dry like some of the cereal bars I have tried in the past. It is also one of the better tasting cereal bars I have tried too. For me only an Elevenses bar can top a Tracker for flavour.

In terms of a mid-morning snack a Tracker is a fairly healthy option in my opinion. A 26g bar contains:

Calories - 125
Sugars - 7.9g
Fat - 6.1g 8.7%
Saturates - 2.9g
Salt - 0.10g

I would recommend these bars for anyone who is looking for something that tastes nice and is a little healthier than a chocolate biscuit or a bag of crisps to tide you through until lunch.
