Advantages: Taste amazing, are superb quality....wow!

Disadvantages: None at all

I adore walkers Max Paprika crisps and of late have gone through bag after bag of the things. However today I fancied a change from my now norm and picked up a bag of Red Skye crisps. Not feeling very at ease with this option when I spotted this flavour I was delighted and so fancied them on sight! At 54p a bag they're a little more than most other brands of crisps in my local Nisa store but I love the quality of this, Walkers Max brand and they you do get a bigger size than most standard bags!

The Packaging:

47g bright yellow on the front and white on the back foil bag. On the front there is a photograph of a crisp and a potato and in large white and black letters I'm told they are 'New' Walkers Max Deep Ridged Taste Cheese Burger Flavour Potato Crisps , the size is stated (as I've listed already) and there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there. On the back of the bag other information includes being told a bit about potatoes (lol), there is a full nutritional chart given on there, ingredients and dietary information is given, I'm told how to store the crisps, the best before date is stamped on and contact details for Walkers are listed. It's a nice bright no nonsense bag and it's informative but I'm surprised there is no allergy advice given on here.

The Crisps:

Wow! Yummy! I was sort of expecting them to taste like a meaty crisp and that was it but was a pleasant surprise I got! I loved these, and I mean loved them!

Upon opening the bag I got a smell of like a Burger King Whopper burger. Beefy, tomatoey and even smelt a slight hint of gherkin it was really an impressive smell and I was drooling even before I picked a crisp up lol!

On appearance the crisps are large, slightly curved to the middle, golden in colour with deep ridges all over them. They have a deep crunch and although these are really heavily flavoured you can really taste potatoes which I appreciate.

Flavour-wise...well what can I say? These are truly sensational. I could taste a cheese burger and my brain got well and truely fooled. In fact it was like eating a good quality cheese burger and chewing chips all at the same time. Nicely seasoned, not one bit sugary these were bizarre!

They are suitable for Vegetarians though I got the taste of a brilliant quality cheeseburger, cheese slice, onion, tomato sauce, gherkin and bread all in a crisp. I can't believe I'm writing this! Everything was included in the taste of this cheeseburger crisp, even the hint of mustard. Just divine!

Not only is the flavour amazing, the crisps are tasty too and not one bit greasy and today I fell in love. Just gorgeous crisps...you must try them! Wow!
