Advantages: Not too filling

Disadvantages: Not very healthy

Monster Munch are corn snacks (not quite crisps but similar) and come in 3 flavours - onion, roast beef and flamin' hot. They are shaped to be like a mosters paw.

Over the years various different flavours were tried out; however, in 2008 they returned to the original three flavours and their original (larger) shape.

A multi pack of ten bags costs £2.50, they are currently on offer (buy one get one free) at Sommerfield.

Each bag contains -
Energy 451kj
Protein 1.5g
Fat 5.5g
Calories 108

They are suitable for vegetarians (even the beef flavour!).

Because they are corn snacks they don't seem to be as filling as a bag of crisps, although they are very tasty! The onion flavour tastes like pickled onions and have quite a strong smell. The roast beef flavour tastes of beef but not as strong a taste as the onion flavour. The flamin hot I can just eat and I don't like anything remotely hot so I assume for most people they would be quite mild.

I would recommend these as a snack for lunchboxes as they aren't too filling. They are reasonably priced, especially when they are buy one get one free!

Summary: I would choose the pickled onion flavour
