Part with that 89p in ASDA and you will be greatly rewarded. For this small outlay you will be able to purchase perhaps the Queen of all biscuits, well at least those without any chocolate. There are two hands and a bit in each packet, that being 12 fingers. Each of these innocuous looking biscuits, does on first impressions not present much of a spectacle as far as biscuits go.

As in so many instances of life it is not always proven that first impressions are accurate, and such is the case with these rather tasty yet plain looking bites. The fingers are not really that big considering, they are about 3 inches long and an inch wide, whilst being just over one quarter on an inch high. They are however a divine biscuit to consume with that morning cuppa, be it coffee or tea.

They are quite crumbly when eaten without the aid of a good dunk, the sweet dry biscuit melts effortlessly on the tongue causing the taste buds to scream for more, which is unusual for me since this experience is usually on associated with a biscuit covered in chocolate. It is when used as a dunker that I find the Walkers Shortbread Fingers come into their own. The hot tea or coffee seems to act as a catalyst and enhances all the flavours once the moist biscuit enters the mouth. The experience is just brilliant as the melting shortcake Nestle's for a few seconds on the tongue before continuing it's journey encouraged by a mouthful of tea.

89p might sound a little much for only 12 fingers but the quality of this product is exceptional, each and every finger has the same crumbly crispy texture, with that delicious sweet and slightly salty biscuity taste, they are in my opinion well worth the investement.

Summary: A great biscuit ofr those dunkers out there.
