Recently I've had bit of an obsession of eating crisps, trying out different flavours and brands and suff. I'd tried Walkers Smoky Bacon before, but I'd never remembered it as being one of my favourite flavours. I thought I'd give it another go, because my taste buds do change from time to time and I have to say, these crisps were better than I'd remembered them.

Smoky Bacon comes in the average Walkers crisp packet size, 36.5g. The packet is a sort of off-red colour, maybe representing bacon? Sometimes I do get mixed up with this packet colour, and the Ready Salted flavour and pick up the wrong one by mistake! The packet looks really high quality, and you can tell it's Walkers from one glance.

*****TASTE*****

The first thing you notice is the crunchiness of the crisps, then you get the flavour of the smoky bacon, the flavour is salty and tasting a little bit of bacon, but sort of different. I think to be honest, I'd rather have another flavour like Ready Salted or Cheese & Onion, these crisps weren't horrible but they weren't delicious either. I don't think I'd buy them especially, but if they were there in front of me I'd probably eat them, knowing me.

I think for me the taste was just a little bit overpowering, you might disagree but you could give it a try.
