Sensations are a "posher" caliber of crisp from walkers, unfortunately this is code for use the same expense to produce said crisp but use classic black and white colours tomake the packet look posher, then charge more than usual for what is ostencibally the same crisps we've been eating for years, walkers are a little bit rip off merchanty in my view (look at how few crisps you get per packet).

However with Walkers meany pants nature pushed aside it's time to give these crisps their day in court.

I am a huge chili head and as such I get a bit disappointed when products are dulled down heatwise to appeal to a wider demographic, unfortunately this is the case here, the crisps are mild in heat but actually big on flavour. A pleasing scent is released when opening the bag, oniony, garlicky with a pleasing sweetness.

I must eat my words and say that these crisps are a little posher than normal, the have a much deeper and more complex flavour, excellently balanced with a mild heat and a lovely onion garlic medley.

The bag I had was rather on the large side but thankfully I am a disgusting glutton (despite being slightly on the slender side for a bloke) so had no worries polishing off the whole bag.

The full flavour mixed with the extreme crunchiness are good points while a lack of chili heat is something I wish would be addressed.

In summary perhaps I was a little hasty in saying walkers are trying to con us all, although I still reckon the increase in price over regular crisps is disproportionate to the added cost of ingredients or extra man hours required in making them. This is a deliciously full flavoured crisp and has a very pleasant aroma, they are crispy and the bags are large, what more could you ask of a crisp
