Advantages: lots and lots of raisins

Disadvantages: none

I love fruit bread and have tried lots of different brands lately, I was shopping online on Sunday and came across Warburtons while I was searching for bread so decided to give this a try.

~Packaging~

The bread comes in the usual plastic packaging that you get with most bread, it is burgandy/pinkish in colour and has a picture of fruit on the wrapper. There is a tie wrapped around the top of the bag which gives you the display until date and best before date.

~The Bread~

This is a 400g loaf and my loaf had 12 slices of bread, the bread is a little bit thicker than the usual thin cut loafs of bread which makes it ideal for toasting.
When you open the bag you can smell the cinnamon, it isn`t too overpowering it is just a light nice smell. The bread feels nice and soft and you will notice loads and loads of raisins in the bread.

I toasted my bread and put some low fat spread on it, even though toasted the bread remained soft and the raisins were also soft and very juicy. I have to say these are the best tasting rasins ever!

~Ingredients~

I am not going to go through the whole list but here are the main ingredients :-

Wheat Flour, Raisins (23%),water, cinnamon pieces ( 5%)
~Other Useful Information~

* The bread is suitable for freezing - if freezing, freeze on day of purchase

* Under warm conditions the life of the bread will be reduced

~What do I think?~

I am lucky as I have 2 bakers in the family so if I want fruit bread all I have to do is ask, but after trying Warburtons I can say that I will be buying this again very soon! It is quite expensive at £1.07 from Tescos but for me the selling point is the juicy raisins and the lovely smell of cinnamon

~One Last Thing~

This fruit bread does seem to toast a lot quicker than other brands so keep an eye that it does not burn.

Summary: If you are looking for something different give this fruit bread a go!
