Warburton's are a family bakers and have been making bread since 1870 which started off in a small grocery shop in Bolton which is still there and across the road from Warburton's HQ! In 1876 there was a slump in the grocery trade which prompt Ellen to bake bread, with her first batch selling out in under an hour.
It was after this that they decided to rename the shop 'Warburton's The Bakers'. In 1965 Warburton's bought out their still popular Milk Roll which is still a firm favourite in households up and down the country. Now today Warburton's bake a great range of bread, rolls and other bakery snacks such as teacakes, crumpets and fruit loafs.

In this pack you get 3 rolls which simply tear apart from each other. These rolls have a mix of sesame seed, sunflower seed, linseed, millet seed and poppy seed for a special, superior taste. These rolls are perfect for taking in a lunch-box and are great for picnics as well. They are also perfect for deli-style subs too. They are long in shape and are the perfect size for 1 person to have for their lunch.

When taking a roll out of the packet they feel extremely soft and light. The knife cuts into this roll very easily to reveal nice soft, fluffy looking bread inside the roll. On top of the roll you can see a mixture of the different seeds on top and a few may fall off when making your roll or cutting into the roll. I love to have cheese, ham and cucumber in this type of roll.
The roll is a descent size and couldn't eat more than one for lunch as I think they are quite filling and very satisfying. When holding the roll in my hand you can feel how soft the bread is. When biting into this roll it was very soft and felt light and fluffy in my mouth. It was easy to chew and didn't taste dry. It tasted lovely and fresh as though it had just been baked. The seeds on top the roll gave it a nice texture as you could feel the seeds crunch slightly beneath your teeth.
When finishing the roll I was very satisfied and noticed a few of the seeds has fallen off the roll onto my plate which I just simply popped into my mouth and ate separately. The bread didn't make my mouth or throat dry and it definitely filled me up to last until after work when I get home for dinner.
These rolls are soft, light and fluffy and taste yummy with your favourite filling inside them. I love the texture and taste of the seeds on top of the rolls which make them more interesting and give the rolls a different texture compared to other rolls out there. I take rolls a lot to work and these are definitely my favourite as they keep soft and fresh until lunch=time and they don't go soggy either.
