***WARBURTONS*** Warburton's are a family bakers and have been making bread since 1870 which started off in a small grocery shop in Bolton which is still there and across the road from Warburton's HQ! In 1876 there was a slump in the grocery trade which prompt Ellen to bake bread, with her first batch selling out in under an hour.
