      Worth that little extra cash.

Warburtons Super Toastie. ================= This loaf can be bought is varied thicknesses from Medium slices which are 1cm thick, Toastie size 1.5cm thick and my favorite, Super Toastie at a 'Door Stop' size of 2cm. And the Crusts ! they are HUGE! I have yet to find one single crust that will fit in the toaster, tragic. They usually end up under the grill. Try a single crust with cheese on it under the grill for breakfast, dinner or tea and I guarantee it will fill you up and you will not feel like snacking at all. This is a thick loaf, a Very Thick sliced Loaf! On the expensive side at £1.27 but worth it as it is very filling. The Super Toastie comes in a Green and white bag with 'Warburtons, boldy written along the length of the bag. The bread is crispy white and has a lovely freshly baked smell. The crusts are tan brown and the slices have a soft and fluffy texture. The loaf can be easily frozen and toasted straight from the freezer. 15, 20 seconds in the microwave and its good to go or pop it straight in the toaster. Hot from the toaster, if you can fit it in, with marmalade. popped under the grill and topped with sardines in sunflower oil, all in all a hot meal with minimum calories but maximum fulfillment As for sandwiches do not get me started. 'Door stops' is an expression made for this bread if you try to make a regular sandwich. I prefer the open sandwich, one piece , some 'Pure' spread on a slice of ham and mustard, very filling. Sadly not so good if you like chip butties, it's impossible to fold with something inside it, you will end up with only one or two chips still 'on board'. However it does make a cracking bacon buttie and you will feel stuffed after-wards because this bread will not disintegrate and fall apart in your fingers. A bit more expensive than all other current thick sliced loaves, however good for the freezer so lasts longer, great for students. Very filling and enjoyable bread. Give it a try and you might just be surprised. Recommended. Greg.
