The latest invention from the clever people at Weetabix - Weetabix minis!

Coming in a variety of flavours, there's one to suit your taste!(Chocolate chip, fruit and nut, honey and nut, plain). Although these can be quite costly too buy, I've found that you can get some 'Buy one get one free" offers or, if you shop at the lesser end supermarkets, you can pick them up very cheaply. They are even for sale at poundland so they are good value if you pick them up cheaply!

Although they say that you should only have a 40g portion of these, I put this to the test the other day - it's about 14 "mini" bites. In my opinion, this isn't very filling and as such you probably only get 5 bowls out of the box (judging from the portion myself and my friends have for breakfast!)

A disadvantage of this cereal is the fact they only come in 375g and 500g boxes - so if you eat this cereal every day (or in some people's cases, twice a day) you'll need to buy a few of these boxes on your shopping trip to last you through to your next one.

My favourite flavour is the chocolate chips as it means I can have my chocolate fix within my cereal. The amount of chocolate chips is plentiful.

As I live a couple of miles from the Weetabix plant, when you leave the house in the morning you can smell the fresh Weetabix - beautiful!
With only 148Kcal per 40g portion, they're a good choice to start the day with.

34% of the RDA (for the minerals listed on the box) is met with a 40g bowl of Weetabix Minis.

If you don't eat them quick enough, they can turn soggy - however this is only after a while. If you don't cover them in milk straight away, they can be a little dry and coarse, hurting your throat a little.

I use Weetabix Minis as snacks when I'm feeling peckish - they're irresistable! Plus, I'd say they're better than having a bar of chocolate anyway.
