Advantages: Taste nice, Size is OK, Low in Points

Disadvantages: Too pricey

As you may have noticed I am currently reviewing a lot of Weight Watchers foods as I am following their online plan to lose some weight before the bog 30 and my holiday. So far I have lost 1 Stone, so still have a little way to go. I have tried many diets before but I always ended up giving up, or binging one day then dismissing the whole diet as a failure. But the WW program means I can have the odd binge and still stick within my point's allowance.
As I have such a sweet tooth I like the fact that with WW you can still treat yourself and using their own brand bars has helped me. I had tried these Caramel Wafers before as they had been on offer but hadn't gone for them again due to the price.

The price of 4 bars is around £1.40 in our local Tesco which for 5 small bars seems a lot but I thought I would try them again to see if they are worth it. Inside the outer sleeve (which shows an image of the bars and nutritional information) are the 5 Bars. They are all wrapped individually.

The caramel wafers are similar to the Blue Ribbands - wafers sandwiched with caramel and coated in chocolate. With the addition of caramel layers the bar is quite chewy, but this is good as it makes it last longer. They are as sweet as a normal chocolate bar and taste very nice. Although nice, they can be quite dry and they are small in my opinion but I suppose as it is low calorie you do have to expect that. Each Caramel Wafer is worth 2 Pro-Points each so is low in fat and calories.

Overall they are a nice chocolate bar and help you stay on track with your diet. However they are expensive for what they are and I have not bought them again - instead I have moved to buying the Blue Ribbands as there calorie content is only slightly higher - 97 to 78 of WW, and the saturated fat is roughly the same at around 4g.

Summary: A nice treat, but price is too high
