      Weight Watchers Cookie Bars :o)

As most of you know my reviews lately have had a theme, the theme being Weight Watchers. I have been with Weight Watchers for a few months now and have decided to review the product I use from my meetings and Weight Watchers items I've purchased from shops also.

When it comes to these cookie bars they have truly out done themselves! They are gorgeous, making it hard to stick with just having the one of these scrumptious delights.

      Weight Watchers Cookie Bars:

Five individually wrapped bars, (5 x 24g) full of the delicious taste of rich chocolate with a biscuit and crisped rice centre wrapped in even more chocolate. What's not to like?

      My Finding and Opinion:

These cookie bars I use as an afternoon treat after walking my dog Josh which I do alternate between the over Weight Watcher snacks and treats, however this is the one I look forward to the most. When opening up the wrapper you can already smell the irresistible scent of chocolate hit buy a warm cookie after smell.

I can promise you that they taste even better than they smell, on first bite there's the soft milk chocolate surrounding then in the middle you have the yummy crispy biscuit centre. The flavours combine wonderfully leaving you wanting more and more after each bite. I have an extremely sweet tooth so these do satisfy my chocolate cravings quite nicely.

The biscuit centre has a mild cookie and dark chocolate flavour, however I'm not the biggest fan of dark chocolate as I find it can have a bitter after taste, but these sure don't. The biscuit centre isn't overpowering its rich but not sickly and doesn't take anything from the lovely milk chocolate layer over the cookie bar itself. A real explosion of a chocolaty taste with cocoa biscuits filling, yum yum.

When biting into the cookie bar the out chocolate layer is smooth and soft, within the middle you have a crisp like chewy cereal bar texture. Very easy to munch away! I really can not fault taste or texture, I just wish the bars where bigger; but after all it is diet food!

      Price and Availability:

As with the Weight Watcher Cranberry, Raspberry and Orange bars (previous review) I have never seen these in the supermarkets/shops and I think they can only be purchased from Weight Watcher meetings.

However you can purchase them from their Weight Watchers web site but minimum order is three boxes. I have noticed they can also be found on eBay (like everything else). At the meetings and online they are priced £2.05 per box and starting from £1.00 on eBay plus delivery charges.

      Allergy Advice:

These Weight Watchers cookie bars contain - Milk, Soya, Wheat, Barley and Gluten. May also contain traces of Peanuts, Nuts and Eggs.

      Packaging:

Weight Watchers is normally associated with their purple band on their food, however when it comes to their treats/snacks they have jazzed things up a little and don't stick to there typical purple band.

This box has a picture of the delicious Cookie bar on the front and for once the bar looks like the picture on the box, followed by a brownie red band showing of the Weight Watchers label and product name. It has all the information you would expect to see ingredients, contact details, product description etc.

      Overall:

Well these are truly my heavenly made bars, I think there magnificent. I'm able to have a treat and stick to my Weight Watcher points what more could I want! Down side is that they can only be purchased from Weight Watchers meetings or online.

There tasty and don't taste at all like diet food or cheap chocolate, I know they are still not the most healthy item to eat but eating treats in moderations I think is perfectly fine. After all we all need a treat now and then!

I can not recommend these little delights enough if you do attend Weight Watchers meetings grab a box I promise you will not be disappointed or if you know of someone that attends Weight Watchers ask them to pick a box up for you. A perfect little chocolate treat!

Five out of five from me :o)

      Thanks for reading :o)

      Additional Information:

Always store in a cool, dry place and out of sunlight.

As many of you will know about Weight Watchers but just incase - Weight Watchers is a point system eating plan which I have found very easy to follow so far. You are allocated so many points per day, and everything food/drink wise has a point value. Your aim is not to go over your set points!

Incase you would like to find more out about Weight Watchers they have a very handy and useful website.
