This hand wash was given to me by my mother, who apparently bought it for herself a while ago, but found she has trouble using pump bottles (in general apparently, not just this product), so decided it would be better off with me. I'm never one to turn down a freebie, especially beauty related, so this has been in my bathroom for the last three weeks or so. The product is from the Avon Senses range, a range of theirs I have had fairly good experiences with in the past. It is in the 'Lagoon' fragrance and should you wish, you can also buy a matching shower gel and bath foam to go with this. The hand wash comes in a clear bottle with a turquoise pump ... I got a load of Avon body products for Xmas including quite a few bits from the Senses range. One of my fave items that I've tried so far is the Lagoon liquid soap because it reminds me of the gorgeous Big Blue ballistic that Lush sells, only is loads cheaper and lasts for longer! It's a very summery smell that reminds me of the sea, it's got a bit of a salty smell and is a proper fresh smell. I think it smells very clean and even though the actual smell doesn't linger for long on my skin it leaves my hands smelling very fresh for ages after I've used it. Also it's good to use in the kitchen because it gets rid of smells that are sticking to my hands and ... Read the complete review

There are some products from Avon cosmetics that I have used for a long time and one of them is the range of liquid soaps. There are four or five different scents of liquid soap to buy in the Avon brochure but one of the one that I usually buy is the 'Lagoon' option. The bottle is nice and attractive and I like how it matches my bathroom colour scheme! The bottle is a pale turquoise colour and has a pump dispenser at the top of the bottle so all you need to do is push down on this dispenser and some of the soap comes out the opening. This means it is a hygienic way to wash your hands. There is a label on the front of the bottle which reminds me of the ... Read the complete review

I like Avon's Senses range as a whole, but my favourite hand wash at the moment is the Lagoon variety which is an aqua hand wash and looks very Caribbean sitting on the edge of my sink. I love it so much it because it puts me in mind of the scent of the Big Blue ballistic from Lush, very ocean-like and refreshing plus there's even a picture of one of my beloved dolphins on the label! I won't insult you by giving you instructions on how to wash your hands, but I personally find this one of the most cleansing hand washes from the Senses range. Even the briefest of washes leaves my hands spotlessly clean and they also smell it too thanks to the very ... Read the complete review

Over the last couple of months I have read a number of positive reviews in relation to Avon Senses Liquid Soaps and eager to try the products out for myself, I made a number of purchases with this review discussing the Lagoon fragrance. The 300 ml of aquamarine coloured liquid is presented in a transparent plastic bottle, which is quite tall in comparison with other brands I've used. The dispensing unit mirrors the colour of the contents with the bottle offering a visually appealing tranquil and dreamy beach image with its white sands and beautiful palm trees. I would point out that the packaging has clearly been updated as it slightly differs from the image ... Read the complete review
