Hi there everyone,
I am writing a review about Burt's Bees body bar Mango & Orange, which i brought online off of amazon for £3.79,. I have really dry skin, so I tend not to use soap, as I find them rather drying, So I was really, really surprised at how moisturising this soap was. The soap lathered up really easily and the lather was really creamy which was totally surprising to me because I thought all soaps were drying. But I have to say though this soap is really moisturising and cleans the skin really well which is a plus. The best thing about the soap that is is natural and doesn't contain all the drying harsh chemicals, which standard, normal soaps often contain. I love the fact that this soap contains coca seed butter in it as it is really moisturising and the mango extract that gives it that divine, exotic smell.
Burt's Bees Body Bar Mango & Orange soap has got me into a right lather! Excuse the pun but this is the first soap I've used in a while that doesn't react with my sensitive skin and because of this I've recently become very aware of the sulfates and detergents in many shower gels and the chemicals contained in many other soaps claiming to be made for sensitive skin types. So it was a relief to see that Burt's Bees contains no chemical "nasties" as it's made with natural products such as Mango Extract, Sweet Orange Oil, and Cocoa Seed Butter.
It was a delight to use in my daily shower - it smelt gorgeous (you can really smell the Mango) and it felt luxurious plus it lathered into a creamy long lasting lather which left not a trace of "film" over the skin so I felt completely clean and fresh.
Even after a couple of weeks using Burt's Bees Body Bar Mango & Orange soap I felt it left my skin feeling brighter, unclogged, soft and hydrated (some days I skipped using a body lotion as I didn't feel the need). This maybe because the Burt's Bees soap contains natural moisturisers and oils.
I have to say soap is not something I would normally rave about but this is a great product and I would go as far as to say Burt's Bees Body Bar Mango & Orange is certainly worth buying - it's certainly worth it to your skin and because of this it is certainly worth the slightly more expensive price tag.
