Lush 13 Soap Unlucky Dirt
Advantages: Smells fantastic - Can be used for all skin types and day to day use.
Disadvantages: A little Pricey but does last a long time
I was recently in the Swansea lush store shopping for a different soap that I could use everyday in the home and not such a girly smell for guests. Walking around the store I discovered that they have released a new soap called "13 Soap (Unlucky for dirt)" - and with a name so good like that I was more than happy to try out. When I picked it up in the store the smell was not so apparent next to some other soaps but I thought that this would be best for what I needed it for and for day to day use.
Once I had taken my purchase home and out of the wrapper the smell was then fantatsic - it is qute flowery and a herb smell (imagine a fresh garden and cuttings of flowers and herbs and that is the intense smell that you have from this soap) It is also a quite refreshing smell since I normally purchase mostly sweet soaps for myself and more masculine for my other half - but this can be used by males aswell as females. After I had used the soap in the bathroom and over an hour later went back into the bathroom and even though the sent was not overpowering you could still smell it faintly - it was lovely.
When you use the soap it lathers up very well and the moisture that it created for the skin is amazing and it does not make your skin dry after use at all. I have very sensitive skin and this did not irritate my skin at all - and my other half has normal/oily skin and it was the same for him - it did not irritate or dry out the skin.
The sales assistant also mentioned that it has anti-bacterial qualities so it is very good for washing hands after using the bathroom but also good for spots etc. So what I done was to cut the soap in half and used the one half for washing hands etc - and the second half I put in a closed soap dish for use for the face etc. This has worked great for our family and would not hesitate to buy this soap again.
I paid £3.50 for the Soap which although to be honest a little pricey I was willing to pay as the soap does last a very long time and this is the normal price for lush soaps at this moment (they all seem to be creeping up in price)
I would highly recommend this soap to anyone that wants a lovely smell for every day use.
Summary: Smells fantastic - Can be used for all skin types and day to day use.
