      Ok as a handwashing soap!

I absolutely love soap. I don't know why this is in this day and age it's a rather old fashioned product really with so many different things to bath and shower with! However me, I still love a nice new bar of soap and when I saw this slab of soap priced for 40p a bar looking rather chunky and pretty in pink I was unable to resist buying it!

      The Soap And Packaging:

Well the soap itself is smooth and made of like a glycerin so it's transparent and of course it's a light pink in colour. It's oblong in shape and rather wide and is covered by a see-through film of plastic and all your told on the front is what it is and who it's by and on the back other information given includes ingredients being listed as are warnings, the size is stated which is 125g and contact details for Morrisons are given. It's a nice looking, sort of handmade bar of soap which is what attracted my attention to it in the first place.

      The Soap:

Well it's grapefruit smelling and that's it really, I can't detect any any lime. Zesty, fresh and zingy though it has a natural sweetness to it but take a sniff of the bar blindfolded I'm sure you'd guess correctly what it's meant to smell of!

It's quite slippy and slidey in the hands when using it, it's hard to get a grip of and even though it's a hardish soap it's just a wee bit hard to use but saying that it doesn't feel greasy, it's hard to explain!

For me this is basically a hand soap and I'll explain why! It doesn't lather up very well at all and only gives off a little white lather if your lucky and that's with really rubbing the soap over my body like a wild thing lol. It does however secrete what looks like oils onto the body as you wash and you can see the soap residue melting onto your skin as you use it rather well.

This all makes this soap hard to feel like your getting clean with and it took me considerable time to get my body feeling like I'd washed it at all! However the smell is lovely and fresh and suitable for men, women or kids to use but sadly the fragrance the doesn't hang about on the skin for very long at all, I'd say as little as half an hours freshness is given with this though you do feel clean after washing with it.

I was also left unimpressed with the general feel to my skin after using this. It wasn't awful but I felt a clammy feeling left behind after using this soap and it didn't particularly hydrate me or do much at all.Yes I felt cleaner but I had to work hard with the soap to get feeling that way!

Like I say this is a great hand-soap though, looks pretty on your sink and does an adequate job but as for using it on my body...I won't bother again it's too much like hard work to me!

Only available in Morrisons stores and other whiffs in this soap are available to purchase too.
