Great if your child cannot have a real dog!

BUILD A BEAR BLACK SCOTTIE DOG

COST - £15.00 from Build A Bear in Aberdeen. The Scottie dog is available at most Build A Bear Outlets as well as from buildabear.co.uk

This is another delightful addition to the already fabulous Build A Bear selection. This little cutie is 38cm tall. His fur is black and very shaggy with tartan paws and ears.

He can be stuffed as usual in three varieties of firmness. If you would like to pull this dog along, i think you are best to get it stuffed as hard as possible as the flimsier ones we have found do not pull along as well.

I also noticed that because this dogs fur is very shaggy it tends to collect quite a lot of dust, and for children with asthma perhaps an asthma friendly dog or bear would be better.

You can also choose to put a beating heart or sound into this dog at an extra £4. There are a variety of noises to choose from including a dog barking.

If you wish to put shoes and roller skates on your dog, remember to get two pairs of each. At £6 a pair this adds an extra £24 to your dog! I have bought my daughter four pairs of matching shoes and four pairs of roller skates allowing her to pull two at a time. You could not realisticly pull more than two at once anyway, so my daughter just swops the shoes and skates onto the two she is using. This way you do not need to shell out an extra £24 everytime you buy a bear.

Also if you want to pull the dog you will need a leash, they come in six varieties and are only £3.50. You can even get a tartan one to match the dog!

In conclusion this is a nice addition to the Build A Bear Workshop and I would recommend for all kids from ages two upwards. These also make great gifts.
