A cute little Winnie the Pooh soft toy.

~*~*~ Disney Winnie The Pooh ~*~*~

We have owned one of these Pooh Bear soft toys for a good few years now! When I was expecting my second son I thought it would be a nice idea for my first born son to give a gift to the baby and for the baby to give a gift to him (so to speak), I thought it would be a nice introduction to each other and that is when Pooh Bear was introduced to our family. This was a gift from my eldest son to his baby brother and my eldest son got a cuddly monkey in return.

When we got Pooh Bear we decided his home would be in the babies cot and that is where he stayed until my son was old enough to chuck him out! In the first few weeks and months Pooh Bear was included in so many of my son's first photo's as he is a very sweet and cute little soft toy.

Pooh Bear isn't very big at 30cm high but he is quite cuddly and squishy. He is covered in short soft furry erm ... fur which doesn't seem to pull away at all.
He is wearing his trademark red Pooh t-shirt. He has hard bead eyes but again these are very secure. His nose is black and soft.

He is a lovely golden colour and over the years I have washed him many a times in the washing machine on a delicate cycle but always line dry him so not to cause him any damage in the tumble dryer.

He has lasted well over the years despite firmly becoming one of my son's favourite toys, he took him to bed, to the park ... Pretty much everywhere but he has lasted well through this lovely loving child play. Even now after nine years he looks no worse for the wear and I think this was a lovely gift from one brother to another.

I would have no problem in giving one of these as a gift to a Winnie The Pooh fan as he looks as you would expect, there isn't a hint of cheapness about him despite him being priced generally quite low, I recall that he was definitely under £5 and I bought him from Asda.

This is a lovely little toy and he currently sits in front of the other soft toys on top of the wardrobe as an ornament.

      Thanks for reading :o) x
