My daughter had a little bit of spending money and at the time she really liked the Wonder Pets. We were in Tesco and she spotted the Wonder Pets soft toys. They were £4.99 each which I thought was a little bit expensive but it was her money and she really wanted them so I let her buy all 3.

For those who do not know, the Wonder Pets are 3 little school pets - a duck, a turtle and a hamster, who when school has finished and all the children and teachers have gone home go off rescuing different animals in trouble all over the world.

This soft toy is Ming Ming the duck who is by far the cutest Wonder Pet and has trouble pronauncing her "R's and has the little catchphrase "This is serious". It is made by Fisher Price.

Ming Ming is my favourite of the 3 Wonder Pets and the soft toy stands at aroun 6 inches high and is bright yellow like a baby duck. She has plush little feet which feel like felt and are bright orange. Her feathers are given their illusion by little bits of thread hanging. On her chest is the Wonder Pets badge which is red, yellow and blue with a "W" in the middle. Ming Ming has a green cape with another massive "W" on the back, flying hat and goggles.

I think Ming Ming is a perfect replica of her TV show counterpart. She is nice in that she is very soft and cuddly. My daughter loves her and you can always find Ming Ming tucked up in her bed.

Sadly I don't think much of the quality of Ming Ming. One of her legs has had to be restitched at least 3 times. My daughter has never pulled the leg with enough force to make it come apart or rip. I do not think the legs are stitched on particularly well at all which really lets it down.

Ming Ming has managed to get dirty at times and has survived the washing machine. She has always washed up like new with no colour fading and I found that she dried really quickly when put out on the line.

I do recommend it though it is a possibility to have bad stitching on the legs.

A Bargain at £2.99 But I Don't Think I'd Want To Pay Full Price

I got my little sister the set of 3 small Wonder Pets plush toys from Sainsburys when they were half price at £2.99. I think this is a reasonable price for them but I wouldn't have paid the normal price of £6.00 because they are very small and don't do anything.

The Wonder Pets are 3 little school pets who when school has finished for the day go off rescuing animals who have got into trouble. This toy is Ming Ming, a sweet little chick who is responsible for one of the catchphrases on the show: "This is serious". Or seWious as Ming Ming has a bit of the Jonathon Ross with her speech! lol

This toy is very sweet and is my fave out of the 3 in the set. It doesn't look quite like the photo Dooyoo have got up but that's my fault because I was the one who suggested this category! lol This is the smaller plush toy and stands about 6 ins high, it's not as fat looking as the one in the photo and the fur is a bit stringier to make it look a bit like feathers.

Ming Ming is wearing a green cape with a large W on the back and has also got a pilots hat and goggles on her head. She looks a lot like her character on the programme but the resemblence isn't as good as the Tuck the turtle toy that my sister got in the same set.

The toy is very well made and I can prove it because 2 things have happened to her. The first is that my sister must have dropped Ming Ming just as I was closing the car door the other day and when we got to the supermarket I went round to get her out and noticed that Ming Ming had been outside the car all the time, I must have closed the door on her arm and she'd dangled all the way to Tesco! pmsl! The toy was filthy but otherwise in perfect condition, I bet we had some funny looks going up the road though!

I put it through the washing machine even though you're not supposed to and it washed fine. None of the colours faded and Ming Ming looked as good as new after and dried quite quick on the radiator.

I love Ming Ming and am glad I brought it for my sister because she loves it too, she plays with it and as I'm typing this I am watching her swoop it through the air to rescue her Peppa Pig toy who is stuck on top of the table! lol
