      Advantages

      Great for a gift

I had my eye on these for quite a while and kept hinting around Christmas time a couple of years ago. Sadly for me no one picked up on my hints so when I saw them in Debenhams with 20% I decided to treat myself and brought one.

Hot hugs are a bit like a hot water bottle. They contain a small microwavable pouch that is filled with essential oils. My one has camomile and lavendar. You place it inside the microwave for a few minutes, as it warms it starts to release the vapours and you get a wonderful aroma. When it's warm enough you place the pouch back inside it's casing and can use it in a similar way to a hot water bottle. I use mine a lot in the winter when it's really cold to warm up my bed, or sometimes when I'm watching telly in the colder weather. I also use it sometimes for my back when it gets painful, although it's not quite as effective as a hot water bottle for that.

The casing of the pouch varies greatly but is always some kind of animal. They offer a lot of choice and I have seen casings in the forms of frogs, ducks, tigers, bears and of course rabbits. They also do other items in the range such as slippers and screen cleaners, all again in the shape of animals.

Hot hugs are not the cheapest heaters. You can pick up hot bottle and wheat cushions for below £5 in most shops. Hot hugs cost around £20, which is pretty expensive for this kind of thing, but then you are paying for novelty factor.

These make a great a gift and I think most people would find that adults and children of all ages would love them, although their not suitable for children under the age of 3 years. One thing I will though is be careful if you have a dog. If I leave this on my bed, my dog has tried several times to take it or bite it!

        Very good product.

A hot hug is a fluffy animal which contains a wheat bag in it's tummy.
You take the wheat bag out and pop it into the microwave with half a mug of water. You only need to pop it in there for 1-2 minutes depending on your microwave.
Then just pop it back into the tummy and seal it. You won't feel the warmth right away, give it about 40-60 seconds and then you begin to feel it.
The wheat bag is also fragerenced with a lavender & camomile scent, this is supposed to calm you.

The hot hug is an average teddy size and great for all ages.
I got one for christmas and it is lovely in these cold nights, and the lavender does help to relax you.
They are great for old and young, they don't get too hot so 3 years + is fine to have them.
The warmth lasts quite a while and so far i have heated it up about 30 mins before i go to bed and by the time i'm asleep it is will warm!

You can buy them in many different animals, I have a lion one but it took me ages to decided between that, the monkey & giraffe.
I brought mine from Amazon, but i have seen them in John Lewis.
Prices From Amazon Are- From £13.95 To About £19.99, But as they are from Amazon market packaging is an extra £2.50 or so.
John Lewis had just the rabbit on their website for £15.50!

Washing- Hand wash only making use you take the wheat bag out!

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

          The warmest cuddles in town!

Hot Hugs are the new warming sensation that's sweeping the nation!
Essentially, these fluffy toys are the replacement to hot water bottles. Each toy contains a wheat bag in it's tummy, which when placed in the microwave for 2 minutes heats up and can be replaced to keep you warm all night long. They're also great for tummy cramps and the elderly who suffer from stiff joints and rheumatism/ arthritis etc.

Each tummy inset is scented with lavender and camomile essential oils, and although the scent is subtle, it is soothing and calming and will help relax enough to send you to sleep.

Hot hugs come in a variety of animals, I have the tiger one, you can get cows, lions, all sorts! The animals are very soft, however you do need to hug them the right way around or you won't feel the heat as they are a little bulky.

Suitable for use by children too (providing an adult deals with the heating stuff), these are a great gift, and really useful!
